In 1970, Boelter Beverage Group started as a division of The Boelter Companies to provide a unique branded barware solution to the US brewing industry.  Boelter’s expertise in managing production and fulfillment of branded glassware, cups, coasters and other beverage service items met an industry wide need for an efficient, reliable one-stop supply source. 

The brewing industry has changed significantly over the last 40 years – think of the top brewers in 1970: Anheuser-Busch, Schlitz, Pabst, Coors, Schaefer and Miller vs. today: Anheuser-Busch, MillerCoors, Pabst, Yuengling, Boston Beer, Sierra Nevada, and the exploding number of Craft brewers!  Throughout this history, Boelter has continued to refine an expertise with beverage clients and their wholesaler networks for strategic products to serve their brands, and the efficient one-stop fulfillment of these items into the North American market.  We are the clear leaders serving the brewing industry.

The Boelter Companies…

began in 1929 when its founder, Fred W. Boelter, began selling bar and janitorial supplies to taverns and rooming houses in Milwaukee. Today the scope of the Boelter business includes not only foodservice and janitorial supplies, but contract commercial and institutional foodservice equipment and food facility design (seven offices throughout the United States).  Our other related business units, in addition to Boelter Beverage Group, include: Boelter Brands, which markets and distributes licensed home beverage accessories to retail channels throughout North America; and Custom Deco, a decorator of glass and ceramic drinkware for Boelter, the foodservice industry, and promotional products agencies throughout the country.
